Well-known international company from the furniture fittings industry focuses on dynamics in the search for parking spaces as well as on more parking spaces with charging stations for electric vehicles.<\/h3>\n

Whether, for example, customers of a large shopping centre, guests of a hotel, visitors of a hospital or employees of a company - they all have something in common: finding the right parking space as quickly as possible<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Intelligent parking guidance system from MSR-Traffic<\/strong><\/h3>\n

During the expansion of a plant at the Bregenz<\/strong> production site, a new multi-storey car park was created for employees and visitors, including an intelligent parking guidance system from MSR-Austria (a subsidiary of MSR-Traffic).<\/p>\n

The aim is to reduce the search for parking spaces and to cut ventilation and environmental costs.<\/p>\n

In this project dynamic matrix displays<\/strong> are placed at selected intersections to guide vehicles to the corresponding unoccupied parking spaces.<\/p>\n

Ultrasonic sensors with integrated status LEDs<\/a> mounted centrally above the parking space show drivers where parking spaces are available (available\/occupied).<\/p>\n

In this case, disabled parking spaces<\/strong> are displayed with separate status LED colours.<\/p>\n

A matrix display has also been installed at the access ramp to indicate available parking spaces even before the entrance.<\/p>\n

By means of ultrasonic sensors (type Design), the availability of each individual parking space is recorded and managed with the controller\/master computer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The resulting occupancy status is shown on LED displays<\/strong> at the entrance and for each lane. In this way, employees and customers can be guided directly to the next available parking space.<\/p>\n

This not only makes the search easier and reduces traffic in the car park, but also saves valuable time.<\/p>\n

The systems for detecting and counting cars entering and leaving the car parks can be implemented for an area, but also for individual levels<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
